7 Stunning Hotels with Mount Fuji Views in Fujikawaguchiko
View of Mount Fuji from the Mizno Hotel
After nine days of hoping to see Mount Fuji, it had only just peeked out from behind the clouds, and we started to accept that it might not be visible during our trip to Japan.
But on last few final days, we visited Fujikawaguchiko. This area is one of the best places in Japan to stay if you want to see Mount Fuji, as most hotels are around Lake Kawaguchi at the base of the mountain. One morning, everything was suddenly clear and we caught a perfect reflection of the mountain from our balcony at the Mizno Hotel.
Booking accommodation with a view of Mount Fuji gives you a much better chance of seeing it, even if it’s only visible for part of the year. Early mornings usually have the clearest skies, so waking up to the mountain from your room or terrace can make the trip truly unforgettable.
We’ve put together this post with the most stunning hotels with Mount Fuji views and everything you need to know to plan your stay in Fujikawaguchiko.
